A brand-new research centre, the Centre for Research in All‑Electric Future Technologies or CRAFT, has now been established in the School of Electronics and Computer Science. CRAFT explores the entire energy chain of electricity, from generation and distribution to end‑use. The research remit spans sustainable power generation, smart grids, sector‑wide electrification, and energy sustainability enabled by digitalisation and AI‑driven solutions.
